Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to Underworld: Blood Wars,
available digitally on January 6! The album features score by Michael Wandmacher, known for his sore to blockbuster My Bloody Valentine and Marvel’s Punisher: War Zone.
Another of Wandmacher’s passions is working within the culturally prevalent world of EDM under his DJ alias Khursor. In addition to his original songwriting, he has produced re-imagines for songs from artists as wide-ranging as Sting (who recorded a brand new vocal for the classic Every Breath You Take specifically for Michael’s version of the song), Soundgarden, The Who, Lenny Kravitz, Culture Club and Black Sabbath.

Underworld stars Kate Beckinsale as Selene a Vampire “death dealer” hell bent on seeking revenge for the death of her family.
The film and its subsequent sequels (Underworld: Evolution, Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans & Underworld: Awakening) have grossed hundreds of millions of dollars at the box office worldwide and January 6th, 2017 sees the return of Selene in Underworld: Blood Wars.
Upon its original release the soundtrack received high praise from both fans and critics alike, with many citing the tracks by David Bowie, A Perfect Circle, Puscifer & Skinny Puppy as the perfect musical accompaniment for the images on screen.
The album produced by Danny Lohner (FMR Nine Inch Nails) includes exclusive tracks at the time of release from David Bowie (feat. Maynard James Keenan (Toold) & John Frusciante (Red Hot Chilli Peppers), A Perfect Circle, Page Hamilton (Helmet), Renholder (Danny Lohner) & Amy Lee (Evanescence) as well as the track “Awakening” by rock supergroup -The Damning Well (Wes Borland (Limp Bizkit), Richard Patrick (Filter), Josh Freese (The Vandals, A Perfect Circle) and album producer Danny Lohner.

In 2009, Lakeshore Records sat down with composer Paul Haslinger to interview him on his Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans score. Paul Haslinger, formerly of the Grammy®-nominated band, Tangerine Dream, is known for his scores on such films as Near Dark (directed by Kathryn Bigelow), Crank, and the Emmy®- and Golden Globe®-nominated TV series, “The Sleeper Cell.” He is currently composing on the “Fear The Walking Dead” TV series.
