Pedro has been awarded two Gold Medals for Excellence in Film Music at the Park City Film Music Festival, an ASCAP Award, was nominated for two Cinema Brazil Grand Prizes (Brazilian Oscars), an ACIE Award and a Premio Contigo! De Cinema. Previously, he worked on the music for the video game “Max Payne 3”, the international co-production Blue Lips and completed the score for MGM’s reboot of RoboCop, starring Joel Kinnaman, Gary Oldman and Michael Keaton. Pedro’s other release with Lakeshore is the acclaimed Deep Web documentary, directed by Alex Winter and narrated by Keanu Reeves. Earlier this year, Cinema Eye Honors Awards nominated Deep Web for Outstanding Achievement in Nonfiction Filmmaking For Television.

The soundtrack event of the year kicks off this Friday (10/28) when Stranger ThingsVol 1 by Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein makes its vinyl debut through Lakeshore Records.
Stranger Things hit Netflix in July of 2016 and became an instant worldwide phenomenon. Created by The Duffer Brothers, the show set during the early 80s harkens back to a more innocent time, which has resonated with the world at large. A part of the shows success is down to the superb electronic score created by Dixon & Stein, with references to artists like Tangerine Dream and Goblin as well as contemporaries such as Cliff Martinez and Clint Mansell. The show’s score really does have something for everyone.

Ben Salisbury and Geoff Barrow have scored an episode of Charlie Brooker’s highly anticipated Black Mirror season 3, the internationally acclaimed show which returned this autumn, premiering in full on Netflix Friday, October 21st. The soundtrack to the episode, called “Men Against Fire”, was released on digital platforms in North and South America by Lakeshore Records and worldwide via Invada Records.
