Throwback Thursday: Narcos Season 1 – The Top 10 Soundtrack Of 2016

In this edition of Throwback Thursday, we’re taking a look at Narcos Season 1, featuring the score by series composer Pedro Bromfman and the music you love!  The acclaimed first season depicts the rise and fall of Pablo Escobar, the infamous Colombian drug lord of the 1980s.  Between Bromfman’s score and Rodrigo Amarante’s title theme — the album was hailed as among the Top 10 Best Soundtracks of 2016 — and the various songs heard throughout the season, you’ll be taken back to the Say No To Drugs era (or at least, you can imagine what it was like).  Check out our album and composer YouTube playlist, as well as the extended Spotify playlist below!

The exceptional score by composer Pedro Bromfman (Elite Squad, Robocop) is available now from our partners Invada Records.

The 10-episode Netflix series tells the gripping story of notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar. With fear and corruption at his fingertips, the series details Escobar’s gory rise to the top, and follows the footsteps of the DEA officers that were brave enough to try and stop him.

The 28-track score, also featuring the show’s theme song ‘Tuyo‘ by Brazillian composer Rodrigo Amarante, will be pressed as a double LP with two unique artwork variants and LP colours available.
