From the “Stranger Things” Season 2 soundtrack (score by EMMY® Winners Kyle Dixon & Michael Stein), “The Walking Dead” (score by Bear McCreary) and Wonderstruck (score by Carter Burwell, to new vinyl releases, we’ve got the details below!

Haynes emphasized the importance that music plays in the film. Haynes worked with composer Burwell to come up with a way to play down the emphasis on the dialogue, placing it instead on the score. – Variety

Lakeshore Records will release the Wonderstruck (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) digitally October 20 and on CD/LP later this year. Simultaneously, a second version of the album, containing three bonus tracks, is also being released as an Amazon Exclusive Special Edition. Both releases feature original music by Carter Burwell (Carol, Fargo).
“The script specifies that Rose’s segment of the film would be silent because her character is deaf, so music was going to play a large role,” said Burwell. “Because of the lack of dialogue and the lack of sound effects in Rose’s section, we presented it as a silent film, with wall-to-wall music. I don’t believe there’s ever a moment where we actually go completely silent. That was a new challenge for me.”
