Watch Two Vine Videos Which Celebrate The ‘Walk Of Shame’ Soundtrack

Walk of Shame starring Elizabeth Banks and James Marsen debuted this weekend, and legions of ladies were decked out in yellow dresses to support the Virtual Premiere which made its debut concurrently with the theatrical release.  On Vine, singer and musician Linda E P O, a popular Vine user, donned a yellow dress in honor of the Walk of Shame Soundtrack. Lakeshore Records is pleased to release this soundtrack, destined to be the playlist of the summer with danceable tracks and catchy tunes which are apparently great for looping Vine videos!

What happens when a TV newswoman who, after having an uncharacteristically wild night, ends up entangled in the most epic Walk of Shame ever while trying to get to the job interview of her career?  Linda, a popular Viner known for her musical performance videos, made two Vines in tribute to this new comedy: a singing self-collab for “Woohoo” by Eli “Paperboy” Reed and her version of a “Walk of Shame: Late For Work Edition!”  The video features the classic hit, “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” by Wang Chung.

4 Elizabeth Banks Movies We Love, Plus ‘Walk Of Shame’ Opens This Weekend

Before Elizabeth Banks darted across town in a yellow dress and boop-booped her way into our hearts in Walk of Shame, we saw her in the following films: Daltry Calhoun (watch on YouTube); Definitely, Maybe, with a soundtrack scored by Clint Mansell (watch on HitBliss); People Like Us, scored by A.R. Rahman (watch on Google Play); and The Uninvited (watch on HitBliss), scored by Christopher Young.  Lakeshore Records is proud to have released the soundtracks to these films, including the new Walk of Shame Various Artists soundtrack (download the album on iTunes).  Walk of Shame opens in theaters on Friday, but you can also catch the movie on demand via the movie’s Virtual Premiere.

If you’re looking for the one go-to soundtrack of the summer, then the Walk of Shame is a safe bet.  The album is packed with solid, danceable tracks and catchy remixes of perennial favorites, “Walking In L.A.” (Motels remix by Scott Park and Corky James), and “Everybody Have Fun Tonight” (by Wang Chung).

Elizabeth Banks stars as May in Daltry Calhoun, a heartwarming story about a struggling golf club owner who meets his 14-year old daughter and learns to be a father for the first time.  Definitely, Maybe stars Ryan Reynolds (as politician Will Hayes), Elizabeth Banks and Abigail Breslin (“Perfect Sisters“). Banks plays Emily, one of Will Hayes’ college sweethearts in this tale about a politician who tries to explain his past to his daughter.

In People Like Us, Chris Pine is “Sam,” a salesman trying to settle his recently-deceased father’s estate, only to discover he has a long-lost sister, played by Elizabeth Banks.  The Uninvited is a gripping horror story about a girl (played by Emily Browning), who returns home to be greeted by her father’s new girlfriend, Rachel (played by Elizabeth Banks), and some ghosts in her home who appear to provide clues to suggest something sinister about her dad’s new love interest.

Read this interview in which co-star James Marsen dishes on working with Elizabeth Banks.  It’s a fun read.

“I’ve known Elizabeth forever, and she’s always been a friend — there’s this Hollywood family that you kind of feel like you’re a part of, and when a movie like this comes along, you get to go play with some of your family. So, Elizabeth and I — or Banksy, as we call her — we got to have fun with this movie. It’s great when you already have a rapport established and you’re already comfortable around one another. She knows that I say Uncle pretty quick — so, she asked me to put a dress on.”
