‘Tracks’ Soundtrack On Lakeshore Records, Score By Garth Stevenson | Watch The Film On September 19

Tracks is a one of a kind cinematic venture that only comes around every decade or so. –Huffington Post

Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to Tracks, featuring a score by Garth Stevenson (A Fierce Green Fire, The Red Knot). Director John Curran (The Painted Veil, We Don’t Live Here Anymore) and the producers of The King’s Speech brings you the film Tracks, based on a true story about Robyn Davidson’s inspirational 1,700-mile journey of discovery across the Australian desert with her unpredictable four camels and a dog. Tracks was the Official Selection at Venice Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival and Telluride Film Festival. Stay tuned for more information on the soundtrack.

Tracks, starring Mia Wasikowska (The Kids Are All Right, Only Lovers Left Alive) as Robyn Davidson, Adam Driver (Not Waving But Drowning, Frances Ha) as National Geographic photographer Rick Smoland, and Emma Booth (The Boys Are Back, Parker). The Weinstein Company film will make its theatrical debut on September 19.

Playbill Premieres Stage Fright Soundtrack, Read The Review | Download The Album

Playbill, the magazine for all things theatre, premiered the Stage Fright (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) album preview, with music by Composers Jerome Sable and Eli Batalion. The album features performances by Meat Loaf, Minnie Driver and The Metal Killer! Described by Playbill as a “musical slasher film,” the soundtrack is out now on iTunes. ‘Dear White People’ Soundtrack Coming Soon On Lakeshore Records

The soundtrack to Dear White People will be released by Lakeshore Records this fall. The film written and directed by Justin Simien was a hit at this year’s Sundance Film Festival, winning the U.S. Dramatic Special Jury Award for Breakthrough Talent.

The film is a carefully crafted and well executed satire which follows four black students at an Ivy League college, stars Tyler James Williams (Peeples, The CW’s Everybody Hates Chris), Tessa Thompson (For Colored Girls, NBC’s Heroes), Teyonah Parris (AMC’s MadMen, CBS’ The Good Wife), Brandon P. Bell (CBS’ NCIS, ABC’s Switched At Birth) and Dennis Haysbert (Fox’s 24, CBS’ The Unit). An Official Selection at Sundance Film Festival, Dear White People is in theaters on October 17. Houdini Soundtrack Out Now On Lakeshore Records Score By John Debney

Framed by a death-defying feat that has Houdini’s life flashing before him, Houdini quickly advertises all that will be revealed over the course of four hours (split into two parts). And reveal it does, taking an unorthodox approach that weaves in surreal and psychological elements, zooming camerawork, frenetic editing, a modern soundtrack and some well-placed animation to illustrate how Houdini’s tricks worked. –The Hollywood Reporter

Lakeshore Records is pleased to release Houdini (Original Television Soundtrack) Volume 1 and Volume 2 out now. Original music by Academy Award nominated-John Debney, with additional music by Sebastian Arocha, the score is “Industrial Rock meets Gypsy rooted mystery, ” says John Debney.
