Lakeshore Records is pleased to partner once again with Academy Award-nominated composer Volker Bertelmann on the release of his score to Stowaway, the latest hit sci-fi Netflix film (The Old Guard, Lion, Your Honor), available now digitally!  

The acclaimed pianist, composer, and experimental musician utilizes piano, strings and orchestra to explore a wide range of sounds that provide a rich backdrop to the mission to Mars thriller.

The film directed by Joe Penna and co-written by Penna and Ryan Morrison, and produced by XYZ Films, Augenschein Filmproduktion and Rise Pictures, and starring Anna Kendrick, Toni Collette, Daniel Dae Kim & Shamier Anderson, streams on Netflix April 22.

A Simple Favor is directed by Paul Feig (Bridesmaids, The Heat). This modern neo-noir follows a mommy blogger as she investigates the disappearance of her rich, mysterious best friend from their small town. The soundtrack sets the mood with a French noir sound with contributions from Françoise Hardy, Brigitte Bardot and Serge Gainsbourg. Film Opens in Theaters this Friday September 14th.

The Hollars: Score By Josh Ritter To Be Released On September 9, John Krasinski Film Now Playing!

Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to The Hollars, featuring score by Josh Ritter!  The album will be released on September 9th and on CD shortly thereafter.

Directed by John Krasinski, The Hollars movie stars Sharlto Copley, Charlie Day, Richard Jenkins (Bone Tomahawk), Anna Kendrick (Mike And Dave Need Weddng Dates), John Kraskinski and Margo Martindale.
