If you haven’t caught up on all episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, then consider yourself warned as spoilers are ahead!  Previously, we noted the musical episode, “Subspace Rhapsody” (Episode 9) has quickly become a fan favorite, sending the soundtrack warp speed to No. 1 on the iTunes soundtrack chart with five songs landing in the Top 20 on the Songs chart!

One of those songs is called, “I’m Ready” performed by Jess Bush (Nurse Chapel).  You can hear that she’s at a crossroads.  Watch the clip below or stream the episode on Paramount+.  Listen below with the full song lyrics.

All Fun And Games: AGBO’s Horror Film Opens In Theaters & VOD, Score By Alex Belcher

A boy and a cursed knife in Salem, Massachusetts: what could go wrong?  Starring Natalia Dyer (“Stranger Things”, “Based On A True Story”) and Asa Butterfield (“Sex Education“, Choose Or Die), The horror-mystery film All Fun and Games from AGBO Films–powerhouse directors The Russo Brothers’ production company–kicks off scary season early, and we welcome it.  Featuring score by Alex Belcher (Extraction II, Citadel), the soundtrack is out now digitally on Lakeshore Records in tandem with the film’s theatrical release!  Keep reading for album streaming and film links.

The Marsh King’s Daughter: Daisy Ridley, Ben Mendelsohn Thriller Opens In Theaters October!

EMMYS 2023: Danny Elfman & Chris Bacon, Holly Amber Church, John Powell, Hans Zimmer + More Are Among Nominees!

This year, five Lakeshore Records partners are nominated in the Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music and Outstanding Music Composition categories!  From Holly Amber Church’s theme to Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities, to Chris Bacon and Danny Elfman’s score to Wednesday, we’re especially pleased to see sci-fi and horror genres getting a lot of love this year.  With six music nominations from five partners–40 nominations across a total of eight partners overall—it’s yet another fruitful year for partners!  View the full breakdown below.

RAID: Call of The Arbiter – Jesper Kyd’s Score Releases Globally!

RAID: Call of the Arbiter, music composed and produced by Jesper Kyd (Assassin’s Creed) has been released digitally via Lakeshore Records!  The Kyd’s score to the 10-episode limited series dropped on YouTube earlier this summer to adoring fans of the video game, RAID: Shadow Legends.  Providing a back story to the in-game characters, fans got to experience the game in a whole new dimension as the animated series also stands apart from the game.

“[High Elves and Dark Elves] conveys what feels like a battle between its atmospheric choral sections and the orchestral swells that dominate for brief passages—there’s a push and pull between the calm and the chaotic which makes for a very compelling piece of music.” – Under The Radar

Kyd’s score is performed by the Hungarian Scoring Orchestra and Choir, giving the music its epic sound to match the adventures.
