After The Fall Soundtrack Feat. Composer Marc Streitenfeld Coming Soon, Wes Bentley Drama Opens In Theaters & On VOD On December 12

Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to After The Fall, starring Wes Bentley (Interstellar, Gone, American Beauty)Vinessa Shaw (Eyes Wide Shut, The Hills Have Eyes) and Haley Bennett (Marley & Me, The Hole).  Featured on the album is the score by Marc Streitenfeld (The Grey, Welcome to the Rileys, Gladiator), an accomplished composer known for his collaborations with Director Ridley Scott.  Directed by Saar Klein, Oscar-nominated editor of The Thin Red Line and Almost Famous,  After The Fall won “Best First Feature Film” at the film’s premiere this past February at the Berlin International Film Festival (read the review at Indiewire).  The film opens in select theaters and on VOD on December 12.

It’s A Brad Pitt Weekend: Watch Him In ‘Killing Them Softly’ – ‘Fury’ Opens In Theaters

Killing Them Softly stars Brad Pitt (Burn After Reading, Mr & Mrs Smith, The Tree of Life, Megamind), Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelsohn, Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini (Welcome to the Rileys), Ray Liotta (Smokin’ Aces), Vincent Caratola, Slaine, Max Casella, Trevor Long and Sam Shepard (The Return).  Brad Pitt stars in one of his grittiest roles ever as an “enforcer” hired to restore order after three dumb guys rob a Mob protected card game, causing the local criminal economy to collapse.

Fury stars Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Peña and Scott Eastwood, who stars in the upcoming Dawn Patrol.

Happy Anniversary, WarGames! Pop Culture Movie Favorite Turns 31

“Shall we play a game?”  This weekend marks the 31st anniversary of WarGames (rent it on iTunes), one of pop culture’s favorite movies.  Debuted in theaters on June 3, 1983, WarGames stars Matthew Broderick (The ProducersDeck The HallsWonderful World), Dabney Coleman (HBO’s Boardwalk Empire) and Ally Sheedy (Welcome To The RileysThe Breakfast Club).  Released by Lakeshore Records, Wonderful World (rent it on iTunes) is scored by Craig Richey and Welcome to the Rileys is scored by Marc Streitenfeld.

Directed by John Badham (The CW’s Supernatural), WarGames hypothesized what would happen if a teen wiz kid could accidentally hack into the ultimate video game.  He soon realize that his online war game might actually be real.  The film was made during the Cold War, when the thought of a Soviet threat was a looming dread for many.

2 Kristen Stewart Movies We Love – Download The Soundtracks!

Lakeshore Records wishes Kristen Stewart a happy birthday!  We’ve seen her grow up before our eyes on screen, so we know she’s known for more than just being Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga movies.  The films, Welcome To The Rileys (available via Netflix) and the Oscar-nominated Into The Wild (watch on Netflix), hold a special place in our hearts not only because we released the soundtracks, but they are just great movies to catch KStew playing characters we’re not used to seeing.
