It’s been said that Daybreak, Netflix’s new post-apocalyse series is an adventure between Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Mad Max. Andrew’s score to “Daybreak” series comes to us digitally on Friday, October 25, but you can pre-order the album now.

Debuted in theaters on June 3, 1983, WarGames stars Matthew Broderick (The Producers, Deck The Halls, Wonderful World), Dabney Coleman (HBO’s Boardwalk Empire) and Ally Sheedy (Welcome To The Rileys, The Breakfast Club). Directed by John Badham (The CW’s Supernatural), WarGames hypothesized what would happen if a teen wiz kid could accidentally hack into the ultimate video game. He soon realize that his online war game might actually be real. The film was made during the Cold War, when the thought of a Soviet threat was a looming dread for many.
