Legion Soundtrack Season 1 Volume 2: More Music By Jeff Russo To The Acclaimed FX/Marvel Series, Including The Sought After ‘Fauxlero’ And ‘The Rainbow Connection’

Legion Season 1 Soundtrack Volume 2 | Lakeshore Records

Lakeshore Records will release the Legion Season 1 Volume 2 (Original Television Soundtrack) digitally on June 9, 2017.  The album contains additional original music by Jeff Russo (“Fargo”, “The Night Of”) with two sought after pieces – the special Legion “Fauxlero” version of Maurice Ravel’s “Bolero” and Dan Stevens performing The Muppets’ classic “The Rainbow Connection” on banjo.  Stay tuned for more album details!  Preview the previously released Volume 1 Soundtrack below, out now via Lakeshore Records!

“So glad to be releasing volume 2 of the season one score. There were a number of cues that we just couldn’t let out of the bag until after we aired,” explained Russo. “‘Fauxlero’ was so much fun to put together and when was the last time you heard a harpsichord cue?”

Throwback Thursday: A Look At ‘Legion’ Composer Jeff Russo’s ‘Manhattan’ Season 2 Score

Rabid fans of FX’s Legion Series, already know about Jeff Russo’s Pink Floyd-tinged score.  Channeling the feel of the 1960s and ’70s, Jeff knows a thing or two about creating music for a period.  For Throwback Thursday, we time travel back to last year, when we saw the release of Manhattan (Original Score From The Television Series), featuring Jeff Russo and Zoe Keating, who scored Season 2.  While we wait with anticipation for Legion FX Season 2, we can enjoy more of Jeff’s amazing tv series scores!
