“New York F***** City,” from Simonsen’s soundtrack, embraces a retro, dark synths vibe that would be equally at home scoring a high-speed chase or a euphoric night on a nightclub’s dance floor. The song’s ’80s stylization reflects the film’s cool color palette, and is carried throughout score, which Simonsen describes as “the sound of electricty running through the nervous system.”  – Under The Radar
