In this edition of Throwback Thursday, we revisit the first Crank soundtrack, featuring various artists such as Paul Haslinger, Quiet Riot, Jefferson Starship, David Rolas and more. The album is peppered with dialog from the film, taking us on a guided soundtrack tour through the adrenaline-fueled action. The film was released in 2006 and stars Jason Statham, Amy Smart, a post-Napoleon Dynamite Efren Ramirez and a fun cameo by the late Chester Bennington. Crank: High Voltage Soundtrack – Mike Patton’s Score Gets A Long-Awaited Limited Edition Vinyl Release | Alt Press

Featuring art and design by John Bergin, the 2xLP vinyl is a limited edition of 1,000: 350 Black Inside Yellow with White and Yellow Splatter, and 150 in Clear/Black Split with White and Yellow Splatter. Today we celebrate Mike Patton, lead vocalist of multi-Grammy®-nominated band Faith No More and composer of Crank 2: High Voltage, starring Jason Statham! Faith No More’s seventh studio album, “Sol Invictus” was released in May 2015 and debuted to acclaim, named “Best Album” at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards and “Album Of The Year” at Mxdwn.com; and Mike won “Best Vocalist” at the 5th Annual Loudwire Music Awards.
