In this edition of Throwback Thursday, we revisit the first Crank soundtrack, featuring various artists such as Paul Haslinger, Quiet Riot, Jefferson Starship, David Rolas and more. The album is peppered with dialog from the film, taking us on a guided soundtrack tour through the adrenaline-fueled action. The film was released in 2006 and stars Jason Statham, Amy Smart, a post-Napoleon Dynamite Efren Ramirez and a fun cameo by the late Chester Bennington. Faith No More’s seventh studio album, “Sol Invictus” was released in May 2015 and debuted to acclaim, named “Best Album” at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards and “Album Of The Year” at Mxdwn.com; and Mike won “Best Vocalist” at the 5th Annual Loudwire Music Awards.
