The highly-anticipated return of the Castlevania series on Netflix brought back composing duo, Trevor Morris and Trey Toy to continue the epic saga in the form of Castlevania: Nocturne, which takes place generations later.  Imagine playing the Castlevania games as a child and growing up to be asked to work on the Castlevania tv series as a composer!  This was an unimagined dream come true for Composer Trey Toy, as revealed in the Screen Rant interview.

Flora And Son: Behind The Music

New York Times Critic’s Pick film Flora and Son is now playing in theaters and streaming on Apple TV+!  The Apple Original Film stars Eve Hewson (“Flora”), Orén Kinlan (“Max”) and Joseph Gordon-Levitt (“Jeff”).  Directed by John Carney (“Sing Street“), the film also features original songs and score by Gary Clark and John Carney.

Flora And Son: Listen To John Carney’s ‘Dublin 07’ Performed By Orén Kinlan and Eve Hewson With Song Lyrics!

The charming Flora and Son movie is capturing critics’ hearts far and wide!  Now a New York Times Critics Pick film, the music-driven John Carney drama sees a mother trying to bond with her teenaged son through music.  One of those pivotal moments comes during the creation of the song, “Dublin 07.”  As revealed in a recent podcast interview, the song came straight up from a demo by John Carney during the songwriting process with the film’s composer, Gary Clark!  We won’t spoil it for you, but if you must, watch the lyric video with song lyrics below.
