Premiering today is the debut single from the upcoming The Rise of The Synths Companion Album, featuring the new and exclusive track, “Night Stalker” by French synthwave artist Carpenter Brut — listen now at Vehlinggo!  The single will be available digitally this Friday, March 3 on Lakeshore’s Bandcamp.  The full companion album is set to drop this spring.

This album, featuring all-new and exclusive tracks, was conceived in support of the forthcoming The Rise of The Synths documentary directed by Iván Castell and produced by Javier Moreno with an amazing team from Spain.  The film is the definitive documentary about synthwave and ’80s retro and electronic music.  The crowd-funding campaign is ongoing, and you can support the film’s next phase at Indiegogo.

Lakeshore Records is excited to announce synthwave artists Dance With The Dead will be featured on the forthcoming The Rise of the Synths Companion Album!  Previously, we announced that Code Elektro, Robert Parker, Waveshaper and OGRE will be a part of this compilation album, featuring new and exclusive tracks.  See the duo, comprised of Justin Pointer and Tony Kim, at select performances in March.  Follow Dance With The Dead on Facebook for details.  The Rise Of The Synths Companion Album is slated to be released this spring, so stay tuned for more updates!

Lakeshore Records is releasing a special companion album in support of the crowd-funded film The Rise Of The Synths.  The album will feature many of your favorite synthwave artists.

Over the next few weeks, we will be announcing the bands appearing on the album.  First up: Detroit-based synth-heavy, prog-rock trio VOYAG3R.

Following on from the digital release of Wojciech Golczewski’s End of Transmission, Lakeshore Records and Data Airlines are releasing the 7 song electronic masterpiece on limited edition 12″ and cassette.

End Of Transmission is a spin-off project from Golczewski’s Reality Check trilogy, one that involves Golczewski being alone in the studio with a vintage miniMoog, trying to paint a sound scape to the otherwise complete silence of space travel.

The minimalist direction of End of Transmission marries the simplistic approach of storytelling through the art of sound. Golczewski’s imagined soundtrack for the long journey into space, uses a blend of electronic and symphonic sensibilities, all the while retaining the replay factor. I must have listened to the album 3 times in a row before I even realised!

Some of you may be familiar with Golczewski’s score for the film 400_Days, released by Lakeshore Records in 2015. If you haven’t had a chance to hear the score yet, I urge you to do so as soon as possible!

End Of Transmission is already being hailed as one of the synth/electronica releases of the year and trust me when I say, this is one you won’t want to miss.
