Heralded as “A delightful Twist on the world’s most famous detective” by Screen International, Mr. Holmes is also IMDB’s top indie film picks for July! The album features score by Carter Burwell (Fargo, Burn After Reading, In Bruges), who is known for his work with the Coen Brothers and his score for Twilight. See more details below. While taking in the sights, he develops an appreciation of life in Belgium and considers a way out. Colin Farrell won the Golden Globe for his performance in this film. Well, this has been quite a month for Mr. George Clooney! First, news of his engagement to British Barrister Amal Alamuddin and now a birthday. We couldn’t be happier for him. To commemorate this occasion, we take a look at two Lakeshore Records releases from George Clooney’s filmography, Burn After Readingscored by Carter Burwell(watch on HitBliss), and A Scanner Darkly, scored by Graham Reynolds(watch on WarnerVOD). Carter Burwell is the composer known for the Twilight theme and Composer Graham Reynolds scored Bernie, another Lakeshore Records release.
Burn After Reading features an all-star cast: George Clooney, Frances McDormand, Brad Pitt (a frequent co-star) and John Malkovich. What happens when two gym employees stumble upon a disk containing the memoirs of a CIA agent and tries to sell it? A Scanner Darkly is a visually-mesmerizing animated film starring Keanu Reeves and Robert Downey, Jr. In the not-so-distant future, Reeves plays an undercover agent who begins to lose his identity while getting involved with a dangerous new drug.
