3D Scifi Fantasy Film ‘Zhong Kui: Snow Girl And The Dark Crystal’ In Limited Release Moves Up Domestic iTunes Chart

Last week, we announced that the Peter Pau and Zhao Tianyu-directed epic scifi film Zhong Kui is now playing in limited release in North America. Opening to 24 theaters in the US, the soundtrack scored by acclaimed composer Javier Navarrete stakes a claim on the iTunes Top Soundtracks Best Sellers list!

It’s A Hit Weekend For ‘The Cobbler’ On iTunes, John Debney And Nick Urata Score Makes The Coveted Best Sellers List

The Cobbler is a hit on iTunes VOD right now at #5, and the soundtrack is on the Best Sellers list in Top Soundtracks! If you haven’t made your way to the theaters yet, then now is the time! Directed by Academy Award nominee Tom McCarthy (Best Writing, Original Screenplay for Up), his latest film is a comedy-fantasy starring Adam Sandler — now playing in theaters (check show times) and On Demand (rent it on iTunes). The Cobbler (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) features the score by Academy Award nominee John Debney and Nick Urata, the frontman of DeVotchKa (the band was nominated for a Grammy for their music in Little Miss Sunshine).

Paul Cantelon’s Score To British Drama ‘Effie Gray’ Will Be Released Ahead Of The Film’s Premiere; Film Stars Dakota Fanning, Emma Thompson, Tom Sturridge, David Suchet, Julie Walters, Greg Wise, Claudia Cardinale, Robbie Coltrane, Jamie Fox And Derek Jacobi

Lakeshore Records will release Effie Gray (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), featuring the score by Paul Cantelon, composer of acclaimed films such as The Other Boleyn Girl and Diving Bell And The Butterfly. The soundtrack will be available digitally on iTunes on March 31. Written by two-time Academy Award winner Emma Thompson and directed by four-time BAFTA nominee Richard Laxton, Effie Gray makes its US theatrical debut on April 3.
