‘Moonlight’ Shines With Four Gotham Awards Including Best Feature! | The Wrap

Spirit Awards Nominations: ‘Moonlight’ Leads + ‘Swiss Army Man’ and ‘Captain Fantastic’ | Variety

Congratulations go out to the following Lakeshore Records partners on their 2016 Indie Spirit Awards nominations: A24’s Moonlight (five noms), A24’s Swiss Army Man (three noms), and Viggo Mortensen receives a Best Male Lead nom for Bleecker Street’s Captain Fantastic!   In addition, Moonlight will take home the Robert Altman Award, an annual award which honors the film’s entire ensemble without nominees.

Nicholas Britell Finds The Sound Of Poetry For ‘Moonlight’ + Hear ‘Chiron’s Theme’ From The Soundtrack! | Deadline

Composer Nicholas Britell asked himself what was the musical sound of poetry, and the film, Moonlight, is that poetry in three acts.  With credentials like writing songs for Academy Award winner 12 Years A Slave and last year’s The Big Short, Nicholas has come a long way from first being inspired by Vangelis’ Academy Award-winning score to Chariot’s Of Fire in his youth.   Read the composer profile and hear “Chiron’s Theme” now at Deadline!
