The Nice Guys (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is out May 13 on Lakeshore Records.  Pre-order the CD here.  We’ve decided to give everyone an exclusive view of the The Nice Guys Deluxe Slipcase CD packaging — see the photos below!  The CD comes in a jewel case with an eight-page booklet which includes exclusive liner notes by writer/director Shane Black, known for writing such classic films as the Lethal Weapon movies and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.  Featuring artwork and design by Mathieu Bitton and John Bergin, this collector’s item will be enjoyed for generations to come!

Compiled by Music Supervisor Randall Poster (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Boyhood), this various artists album features top music of the 1970s era from Kool & The Gang, Earth, Wind & Fire, KISS and more!  Hear the album preview now at The Playlist.  Stay tuned for more details on the score album!

The Nice Guys: Score Album Feat. John Ottman & David Buckley Coming Soon, Film Stars Russell Crowe And Ryan Gosling

Lakeshore Records will release the score album to The Nice Guys, starring Academy Award® winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator, Man of Steel) and Academy Award® nominee Ryan Gosling (Half Nelson, The Big Short).  The album features score by award-winning composers John Ottman (The Usual Suspects, X-Men 2) and David Buckley (The Good Wife, The Town).  Lakeshore previously announced the various artists album, featuring a Collector’s Edition Vinyl (pre-order here) also coming soon.  Stay tuned for more on The Nice Guys soundtracks!

The Nice Guys also stars young actress Angourie Rice, Matt Bomer (the Magic Mike films, HBO’s “The Normal Heart”), Margaret Qualley (HBO’s “The Leftovers”), Keith David (TV’s “Community”) and Oscar winner Kim Basinger (L.A. Confidential).  Produced by Joel Silver (Non-Stop, The Matrix films, the Sherlock Holmes films), The Nice Guys movie is directed by Shane Black (Iron Man 3, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang).

This year, Record Store Day is on Saturday, April 16.  In celebration, Lakeshore Records is having a month-long dedication to vinyl offerings out now and coming soon!

First up: The Nice Guys Collector’s Edition Vinyl, featuring various artists!  Curated by music supervisor Randall Poster (Carol, Boyhood, The Wolf Of Wall Street, The Heat, Insurgent and more), this soundtrack is the ultimate collector’s item for the forthcoming THE NICE GUYS movie, starring Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling!

Directed by Shane Black and starring Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling, the film is set in 1970s Los Angeles centering on a case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star.
