GirlHouse Soundtrack Premieres ‘The Enemy’ Full Song By Supreme Villain (Slaine & Madchild) Feat. Rite Hook, Film Opens In Select Theaters And On VOD Friday

New horror flick, GirlHouse is scored by tomandandy, known for their work on The Mothman Prophecies, The Hills Have Eyes and The Covenant, among many others. The soundtrack released by Lakeshore Records is available now digitally: preview the album and get a taste of the “Halloween-style” suspense/thriller, premiering on February 13. My expectations of a romantic comedy score aren’t usually very big and “Playing it cool” easily surpasses them. It’s short, it’s only a collection of moments and it has a theme I had time to recognize in 20 minutes of music. The score never drags and has a very enjoyable rhythm. Few, if any underground emcees are as adept at murdering mics as La Coka Nostra emcee Slaine and Swollen Member Madchild—so, now that they’ve joined forces as Supreme Villain, I think it’s safe to say their foes are shaking in their shoes. On their first joint single, part of the soundtrack to upcoming indie film GirlHouse (starring Slaine, among others), the partners-in-rhyme showcase their collaborative chemistry over a hard-hitting beat by The Arcitype.
