Lakeshore Records is excited to share that the single, “In April” off Song One (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) was selected as KCRW‘s Today’s Top Tune. Song One (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), music by Jenny Lewis & Johnathan Rice, Performed by Johnny Flynn is available digitally on January 13. Johnny Flynn co-stars in the film as “James Forester” with Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway as “Franny”. Check out the album preview below.

A new Anne Hathaway film is getting a score courtesy of ex-Rilo Kiley frontwoman Jenny Lewis and her boyfriend/collaborator Johnathan Rice. Jenny and Johnny wrote a collection of original songs for Song One, the new film produced by Jonathan Demme. Lewis and Rice also collaborated on the score alongside Bright Eyes’ Nathaniel Walcott. Directed by Kate Barker-Froyland, Song One stars Johnny Flynn, Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway and Academy Award winner Mary Steenburgen.
