This Sunday is the Oscars, so we’ve selected an appropriate Throwback Thursday dedication: The Hurt Locker, winner of six Academy Awards® including Best Picture and Best Director for Kathryn Bigelow, who is Executive Producer of Academy Award®-nominated film Cartel Land, up for Best Documentary this year!  The Hurt Locker movie also received three additional nominations, including Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Score for Composers Marco Beltrami & Buck Sanders. This week, we revisit critically-acclaimed film, The Hurt Locker!  Directed by Kathryn Bigelow (Cartel Land), the film received 9 Academy Award® nominations, and out of the nominations, won six Academy Awards® including Best Motion Picture Of The Year; Best Achievement in Directing; Best Writing, Original Screenplay; Best Achievement in Film Editing; Best Achievement in Sound Mixing; and Best Achievement in Sound Editing.  Among the nominations, Marco Beltrami & Buck Sanders received the nomination for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Score!  THE HURT LOCKER is currently on Decider’s The 20 Best War Movies On Netflix list.

No Escape Soundtrack CD Out On 10/16, Owen Wilson Film Coming To Blu-ray/DVD/VOD In November!

No Escape (Original Motion Picture Score) is out now on Lakeshore Records!  You can now pre-order the CD, which hits online retailers on October 16.  The album features score by Academy Award® nominees Marco Beltrami & Buck Sanders (The Hurt Locker), and the original song, “Take Care Of You” by Jim James of My Morning Jacket.  Read further for more details.

No Escape, starring Owen Wilson, Lake Bell and Pierce Brosnan, is now playing in theaters (find a theater).  The movie will be available on HD video on November 13, Blu-ray/DVD and On Demand on November 24.
