Guild of Music Supervisors Awards: Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, I’m A Virgo and More Get Nominations

The 2024 Guild of Music Supervisors Awards nominations are out!  Lakeshore Records partners received four nominations overall spanning across three categories, including nods for video game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (Ubisoft/Disney), and television shows “I’m A Virgo” (Amazon), “XO, Kitty” (Netflix), and “Yellowjackets” (Showtime).  View the nominations below.

No Way Up: Survival Thriller Opening In Theaters & VOD February 16!

Crashing into theaters on February 16, 2024 is the forthcoming survival thriller, No Way Up, from the executive producers of 37 Meters Down!  Starring Colm Meaney (Gangs of London, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Layer Cake) and Phyllis Logan (Downton Abbey; Another Time, Another Place), the film also features score by British composer Andy Gray (“Hunters“).  Watch the trailer below.

2023 EMMY Awards: Lakeshore Records Partners Take Home Best Score and Main Title Wins!

Lakeshore Records partners win big at the 2023 Creative Arts Emmys!  Soundtrack partners won 11 awards across 4 shows, including “Wednesday” (Netflix) with wins for best Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Danny Elfman & Chris Bacon) and Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music (Danny Elfman); and Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie with a win for Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series or Special (John Powell)!
 
*As a reminder, The Creative Arts Emmys, which usually take place in September every year, were delayed due to the writers and actors’ strikes, so this is the 2023 awards for 2022-2023 qualifying productions.  View the award details below.  Congratulations to all the winners!

SAG Awards 2024: John Wick 4, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, The Morning Show Secure Nominations!

2024 Annie Awards: The Legend of Vox Machina, The Inventor, Pacemaker Secure Nominations!

The Annie Awards nominations are in!  Stop motion film The Inventor (Blue Fox Entertainment), animated series The Legend of Vox Machina (Titmouse/Amazon), and animated short Pacemaker (A Running Commentary) secure 2024 Annie Awards nominations!  To note this year, we see represented a composer — Christopher Lennertz — transition from music composition to a directing role!
