With just a month away from the release, Soundtracks, Scores and More is delighted to premiere a teaser of the first track, “Calm Down Lover”, a song featuring vocals by Rob Rowe (the RR in the VH x RR). Antoni Maiovvi’s Before & After The Bomb is a love letter dedicated to 25 years of fascination with all things horror. Taking influence from heroes such as Fabio Frizzi, Riz Ortolani, John Carpenter and Claudio Simonetti whilst simultaneously taking cues from the bizarre and wild films of early-Peter Jackson, Bruno Mattei and Sam Raimi, Before & After The Bomb twists and turns between action set pieces, genuine tenderness and unabashed ridiculousness.

A small town in rural America is devastated by a series of unexplained disappearances. Fear soon turns to disbelief when the resulting Police investigation leads to a well-respected local businessman, confidant and father. However, events take an even darker turn when detectives discover an online journal posted over a decade earlier by a former resident, seemingly predicting the locations of the disappearances. As the investigation begins to unravel, detectives are forced to reconsider their assumptions and look to the past for answers.
All characters, locations and storylines appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

Coldlake is presented between tracks 1-8. Track 9, ‘Returning’ is from upcoming ‘The Telling’ score, based on the short film currently out on the 2020 festival circuit. Track 10, ‘Harber’s Grove’ is from the upcoming S.T.R.S.G.N horror score ‘Harber’s Grove’.
S.T.R.S.G.N is the moniker of Stewart Hamilton, an electronic music composer and producer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Stewart creates music inspired by film and television, particularly in the retro horror, science fiction and crime genres.
