For fans of Jeff Russo’s film score work, the arrival of Lucy In The Sky – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack on uncompressed audiophile CD format couldn’t come soon enough!  Available now in stores and online, the 28-track album was originally released digitally worldwide last month on Lakeshore Records.

If you’ve been following his releases to Noah Hawley collaborations (such as the acclaimed TV series “Legion” and “Fargo“), then you know you’re in for a fantastical ride.  The Cultress recently caught up with Jeff to talk about his work to date.  Jeff talks about how he transitioned from being in a GRAMMY®-winning rock band (Tonic) to composing and creating EMMY®-winning compositions “from an emotional place.”  Read the interview now at The Cultress.

The latest and greatest score from EMMY® Winner Jeff Russo comes in the form of Lucy In The Sky – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.  The album debuts today digitally on Lakeshore Records.  Listen to the album and get tickets to see this new Noah Hawley-directed sci-fi drama!  See the previous announcement over at Under The Radar.

Throwback Thursday: Legion Season 1 Soundtrack By Jeff Russo

We can’t celebrate the release of Jeff Russo’s score to Lucy In The Sky without a tip of the hat to another Noah Hawley production, FX’s critically-acclaimed Legion series!  If you’re paying attention, you’ll also notice that Legion star Dan Stevens also has a role in Lucy In The Sky as husband Drew Cola.  And, like Legion, Lucy In The Sky features an iconic cover song.  Check out the soundtrack to Legion, Season 1.  Listen to the album and see if you aren’t transported to the astral plane.
