Rolling Stone: Daniel Davies’ Debut Solo Album Is Otherworldly

With a pedigree that includes being the son of a Kink and working with one of horror movies’ greatest composers, Davies has made a chilling soundtrack of his own – Rolling Stone

If you have yet to dive into Daniel Davies’ new solo album, Events Score, then have a listen to “Shadows Alive” now at Rolling Stone!  Reviewer Kory Grow says, “the LP’s first single, begins with an eerie, brittle repeated phrase that owes a debt to the Halloween theme and Mike Oldfield’s “Tubular Bells” (the theme from The Exorcist) and it gradually expands into a lush, ominous work of its own. It’s beautiful in its otherworldliness..”

Read up on the review and be sure to add Daniel’s album to your horror playlist.
