‘Condemned’ Score By Daniel Davies & Sebastian Robertson Out Now, Lydia Hearst & Dylan Penn Film In Theaters Now

Condemned (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is out now on Lakeshore Records! Download here: [iTunes]

This remarkable score, which Robertson wrote with longtime friend, Daniel Davies, brilliantly augments and animates Eli Morgan Gesner’s truly grisly movie…  Featuring everything from burbling, foreboding mood music, to ‘House’ to Cool Jazz, it’s chockfull of both beauty and dread-just like the film.

Lakeshore Records is very pleased to release Condemned (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), featuring score by Daniel Davies & Sebastian Robertson (John Carpenter’s “Lost Themes”).  Daniel Davies (whose father is Dave Davies of The Kinks) and Sebastian Robertson (whose father is Robbie Robertson of The Band) worked together recently on the Lakeshore Records release, Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!.  “However, the styles of music associated with these lock legend fathers are in no way present on the soundtrack. Davies & Robertson (juniors) pride themselves in having used a selection of retro synthesisers as the core instrumentation for this soundtrack.”(Blueprint: Review)

Caliber Media presents Condemned in theaters on Friday, November 13 (find a theater).

I like “Maya’s hope”. I like the title, I find it so appropriate for an ambient cue… I don’t need more. It’s as if this cue was a tiny insight into someone’s mind, a musical representation of something intimate and precious to that person. – Soundtrack Dreams
