Passing: Devonte Hynes Debuts His Gorgeous Score, Netflix Film Starring Tessa Thompson and Academy Award Nominee Ruth Negga Now Streaming

Lakeshore Records has released the soundtrack to Passing, featuring score by producer, multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter and vocalist Devonte Hynes (aka Blood Orange).   Listen to the title track below, which originally made its world premiere on Pitchfork.  Keep reading for full album details.  

Directed and written by Rebecca Hall, Netflix Film Passing stars Tessa Thompson, Ruth Negga, André Holland, Bill Camp, Alexander Skarsgard and more. Passing is in select theaters now and on Netflix November 10.

BIFA Awards: ‘In The Earth’ Scores Multiple Nominations Including Best Music (Clint Mansell)!

Congratulations go out to the In The Earth team (NEON) on their multiple BIFA Film Award nominations!  Among the nominations include composer Clint Mansell for Best Music , Ben Wheatley for Best Editing, and Max Harwood (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie) and Ellora Torchia on Breakthrough Performance!  Winners will be announced at the BIFA ceremony on December 5, 2021.

Happy Stranger Things Day! Season 4 Trailer Drops

Finch: Score By Gustavo Santaolalla Debuts Digitally, Tom Hanks Film Premieres on Apple TV+!

Lakeshore Records has released Finch—Soundtrack to the Apple Original Film — available now digitally on Apple Music and all major music services worldwide.  The original music is by Oscar, Grammy, Golden Globe and BAFTA winner Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, The Motorcycle Diaries).  The Playlist says Gustavo’s scores is “just as epic and beautiful as you’d expect from a feature helmed by Miguel Sapochnik.”  Full album details are available below.

He’s a master of both gripping excitement as well as nuance and the score ranges from fully orchestrated, thrilling passages to quieter, richly emotive moments.

Starring Tom Hanks and Caleb Landry Jones, and directed by Miguel Sapchnick, “Finch” premieres globally on Apple TV+ on November 5.
