“Over the course of a pair of films and a television series, Nicholas Britell and Barry Jenkins have become one of the more exciting composer-director pairings working today.” – Indiewire

“Britell’s elegant score is entirely fresh, at times symphonic or sparely elegiac, but always emotionally moving. The soundscape includes a howling noise, as if a bad wind were blowing into Cora’s life.” – BBC

“It is Britell’s first television collaboration with Jenkins, and his compositions for it are less a single score than 10 intersecting, fully realized musical universes.” – NY Times Magazine

“A hugely effective score by Nicholas Britell seems to pulse with both fear and danger as Jenkins silhouettes his cast in photo-realistic tableaux.” – Screen Daily

“The Underground Railroad not only looks fantastic — it sounds fantastic, too. Composer Nicholas Britell’s score strikes just the right note; and Jenkins ends each chapter (as the episodes are called) with music that informs what we’ve just watched.” – Daily Mail

“These displays are beautifully wrapped with the vibrant photography of James Laxton and the eerie, elliptical musical compositions of Nicholas Britell. “ – The Playlist

“That fine visual work is bolstered by a grand score of haunting, emotive strings from Nicholas Britell, simply his most beautiful work yet.” – Awards Watch

“Nothing was given, all was earned. Hold on to what belongs to you.” From Academy Award® winner Barry Jenkins and based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Colson Whitehead comes the Amazon Original limited series “The Underground Railroad”.
