Lakeshore Records has released the single, “I Drive (Waveshaper Remix” via The Rise of the Synths Presents!  Waveshaper’s remix of the Cliff Martinez classic track from the Drive soundtrack shows that music fans’ love of synthwave is not waning anytime soon.  The mere existence of The Rise of the Synths documentary and its continued support at film festivals around the world is proof enough that the love of and homage to the music of the 1980s is going strong.  Available on all major digital music services worldwide.

‘Videoman’ Is Coming Soon Worldwide To Your Screen!

Kristian Söderström’s Videoman film made its UK theatrical debut last summer at Frightfest in London, and now we’ve learned the film will receive worldwide distribution, heading to VOD platforms and DVD! This is good news for folks here in the US who have been teased by the soundtrack release via Lakeshore Records almost a year ago, which features score by synthwave collaborators, Robert Parker and Waveshaper, plus music by Johan Agebjorn (feat. Kristian Soderstrom’s ‘Videoman’ Movie Debuts At Frightfest! Score By Waveshaper & Robert Parker

Director Kristian Söderström’s Videoman film makes its debut at Frightfest (August 23-27) in London (see schedule)!  The nostalgia-inducing movie starring Stefan Sauk, Lena Nilsson and “Mr. Robot” star Martin Wallstrom makes its film festival debut.  Lakeshore Records released the soundtrack featuring score by Waveshaper and Robert Parker, music by Johan Agebjorn (feat. Ryan Paris), Moto Boy, Femmepop and more.
