How to describe Mandy? Imagine a live-action version of the cover art from a band that sang about dragons, Vikings and both Sodom and Gomorrah, set to a score from the late Jóhann Jóhannsson, that’s half the hardest basslines you’ll find outside a Berlin basement club and half atmospherics that would give Beelzebub himself the willies. – Andrew Lowry, Empire Online

Empire Magazine remarks on the chilling score by the late Johann Johannsson to what critics are already calling a new cult classic. If you haven’t yet seen the film, this review is pretty spoiler free. If you’re not in the UK, you can catch Mandy in select theaters now and on Digital VOD (rent it on iTunes). The soundtrack released by Lakeshore and Invada Records is available now on Digital and Vinyl formats!
Partly electronic, partly live players, it’s also heavily edited and processed for a dark, massive, industrial-metal sound that matches the grim, violent, sometimes insane milieu of the film. – Jon Burlingame, Variety
