The album features score by Mateo Messina, composer known for scoring the Academy Award®-winning film, Juno. Before Halle Berry and Hugh Jackman played mutants in X-Men: Days of Future Past, they played ordinary citizens in extraordinary situations. Halle Berry stars as Jordan Turner in The Call, about a 911 operator who goes beyond the call to save a girl (Perfect Sisters‘ Abigail Breslin) who is abducted by a serial killer. Hugh Jackman plays Boyd Bolton, a used car salesman in Butter, a satire centered around the power struggle behind an annual butter carving competition in Iowa. The soundtracks for these two movie selections are solid picks: the Butter soundtrack is scored by Grammy-winning Composer Mateo Messina (Juno), and The Call soundtrack is scored by Academy Award-nominated Composer John Debney (Walk of Shame, Draft Day).
