You read that right! Director Panos Cosmatos partakes in his very first podcast in a recent Shock Waves podcast show to talk about his filmmaking journey to the cult film phenomenon that is Mandy!  If you’ve ever wanted to be a fly on the wall in a conversation with Panos Cosmatos, this is the interview to hear!  The show kicks off with the hosts, Rob Galluzzo, Elric Kane, and Rebekah McKendry, who offer their take on the film and soundtrack.  Let us know what you think about their reviews below!

Johann Johannsson Named Composer of the Year : World Soundtrack Awards:

The World Soundtrack Awards in Ghent Belgium has awarded Johann Johannsson the Composer of the Year Award, in recognition of his outstanding work on his compositions in the past year including Mandy, his final score.  This is the second consecutive year that Johann has won Composer of the Year at the World Soundtrack Awards.  Congratulations to all the winners and nominees this year!

Ahead of the UK theatrical release, critics reviews continue to roll in for Mandy, Directed by Panos Cosmatos!  Empire Magazine remarks on the chilling score by the late Johann Johannsson to what critics are already calling a new cult classic.  If you haven’t yet seen the film, this review is pretty spoiler free.  If you’re not in the UK, you can catch Mandy in select theaters now and on Digital VOD (rent it on iTunes).  The soundtrack released by Lakeshore and Invada Records is available now on Digital and Vinyl formats!
