If you haven’t experienced Hit & Run (watch it on Netflix), the 700-horsepower supercharged comedy starring Dax Shepard (NBC’s Parenthood, Idiocracy) and Kristen Bell (Pulse, Scream 4), then you’re in for a treat. Coupled with an equally energetic soundtrack, released by Lakeshore Records, the movie will be that summer amusement ride — embodied in a movie — that you’ve been waiting for. The bonus of seeing Bradley Cooper (The Words, Midnight Meat Train) play a bad guy in dreadlocks and a pill-popping Kristin Chenoweth (Deck The Halls, Fox’s Glee), is all just part of the adventure.

Entertainment Weekly recently released their “The Apocalypse Issue,” featuring Tom Hardy (Warrior, Inception) and Charlize Theron (Sleepwalking, Prometheus), for the forthcoming Mad Max: Fury Road, which is expected to premiere in May 2015. It has been described as a chase that “continues for 110 minutes,” according to Mad Max creator, George Miller. Can’t wait? Check out this roundup of seven memorable car chase movies that you’ll want to queue up on your playlist. The soundtracks released by Lakeshore Records are injected with enough adrenaline to get you through those long commutes with or without road warriors coming after you.
Hot rods, big guns, pyrotechnics and women who can hold their own in a fight, make for a rip-roaring time. Fast car chases, slow car chases and epic death-defying stunts performed while a vehicle is in motion, never seem to slow anybody down.
