Golden Globes 2022: The Power of the Dog Secures Best Score Nomination, Being The Ricardos + More Lead The Pack!

Congratulations go out to team The Power of the Dog (Netflix), leading with seven Golden Globe® Award nominations including Best Score (Jonny Greenwood), Best Motion Picture, and Best Director (Jane Campion)!  The soundtrack is released by Lakeshore Records.

Lakeshore Records congratulates partner productions on this year’s EMMY Nominations! WIth 13 partner productions from film and TV shows receiving recognition from categories such as Outstanding Music Composition, Outstanding Main Title, and more,  the overall 71 nominations do not tell the full story.   “The Handmaid’s Tale” (Hulu) received a tremendous 21 nominations; “Bridgerton“(Netflix) received 12 nominations; “The Underground Railroad” (Amazon) received 7 nominations; Allen v. Halston: Score By Nathan Barr Releases Globally With Netflix Series Premiere!

Lakeshore Records has released Halston—Music From the Netflix Series!  The album features an original score by Nathan Barr (“Hollywood”, “The Great”). The smooth, ’80s-inflected synth score reflects both the sleek outer brilliance as well as the hidden inner conflicts of the ’70s fashion icon. The album also includes three original recordings performed by Broadway veteran, Krysta Rodriguez, who portrays Liza Minnelli in the series. Two-time Grammy winner Stewart Lerman produced vocals for all three tracks. Lerman has worked with artists across all genres including Liza Minelli, Elvis Costello, Patti Smith, David Byrne, Sufjan Stevens, St. Vincent, Regina Spector, and many more. Additional production on these tracks by The Math Club and Epidemic Sound.

The five-part limited series from EP Ryan Murphy, EP/Director Daniel Minahan and EP Christine Vachon, starring Ewan McGregor, Bill Pullman, Krysta Rodriguez & Rebecca Dayan is now streaming on Netflix.
