EXCLUSIVE! Mr. Robot Vol. 3: Hear The Track ‘2.0_1-s4ve-the-w0rld.act’ by Mac Quayle | Dread Central

Mr. Robot, Vol. 3 - Mac Quayle | Lakeshore Records

Haunting and epic, the track uses electronic synths to create a beautiful foundation that is assaulted by thunderous percussion and piercing strings. Everything combines to make “2.0_1-s4ve-the-w0rld.act” a track that embodies every aspect of the show, a blend of human emotion with synthetic rage. This is a prime example of Quayle’s magnificent skill and ability to draw in the listener with hypnotic majesty. – Jonathan Barkan, Dread Central

Ahead of the Mr. Robot, Vol. 3 (Original Television Series Soundtrack) digital release of the series’ Season 2 score, Dread Central has debuted the track, “2.0_1-s4ve-the-w0rld.act” by EMMY Winner Mac Quayle – listen here.  As previously announced, the digital release will be followed by a CD, and the LP will be co-released through friends and partners Invada Records later this summer.

Mr. Robot Soundtrack: Two Volumes of Mac Quayle’s Season 2 Score Out This Summer (Details)!

Mr. Robot, Vol. 3 - Mac Quayle | Lakeshore Records

Lakeshore Records will release the first of two volumes of music from the second season of Mr. Robot, the EMMY®, Golden Globe®, and Peabody Award-Winning USA Network series!  MR. ROBOT V.3 will be digitally released on June 9, while the V.3 CD and the second volume, MR. ROBOT V.4, both digital and CD, are set to release later this summer. Volumes 3 and 4 feature the original score by composer Mac Quayle (“Feud: Bette And Joan”, “American Horror Story”), who won the EMMY® for his music in MR. ROBOT Season 1 (watch the playlist below). Later this year, Invada Records, in partnership with Lakeshore Records, will release a special LP package.  See more album details below.

“If the first season of MR. ROBOT took us into Elliot’s mind, the second season drew us deeper into his subconscious,” said Composer Mac Quayle. “As we learned, it’s pretty dark in there and so naturally the music followed suit. Darker, weirder, more dissonant, more paranoid.”
