Oscars 2019: ‘Annihilation’ and ‘If Beale Street Could Talk’ Make Academy Awards Best Score Shortlist!

Lakeshore Records congratulates film composers and soundtrack partners Benjamin Salisbury & Geoff Barrow (Annihilation) and Nicholas Britell (If Beale Street Could Talk),whose remarkable scores are on the Academy Awards Best Score shortlist!  There were one hundred fifty-six scores that were eligible this year, and the Music Branch of The Academy voted on who would make the shortlist.  Out of this pool, 15 scores will advance to the nominations round on January 22, 2019.  See the full list at Oscars.org.

The 91st Oscars® will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at the Dolby Theatre® at Hollywood & Highland Center® in Hollywood, and will be televised live on the ABC Television Network. The Oscars also will be televised live in more than 225 countries and territories worldwide.  Congratulations to all the nominees this year!
