Lakeshore Records and Invada Records have released Clint Mansell’s highly-anticipated score to Rebecca, Ben Wheatley’s adaptation of the Daphne du Maurier classic gothic novel, now streaming on Netflix!  The soundtrack is available now digitally on all major music services worldwide.  Listen below to Clint’s haunting, beautiful score which swells with all the emotions of the period thriller.

Rebecca: Clint Mansell Debuts First Track From Netflix’s Forthcoming Psychological Thriller | The Quietus

Fans of Clint Mansell recently got a little teaser of his upcoming score to Rebecca, the new Ben Wheatley (High Rise, Free Fire) film coming to Netflix on October 21.  And now, you can listen to a full song premiere of “Rebecca, Always Rebecca” at The Quietus!  Rebecca (Music From The Netflix Film) will be released digitally by Lakeshore Records and Invada Records on Friday, October 23.  Are you excited to hear the rest of Clint’s score?  Stay tuned for more album details!

‘[music still, with shouts]’ has the hallmarks of Mansell’s work to date; the hypnotic and ethereal wash, the insistent strings, but here they have a Celtic flavour, with a particularly brilliant use of woodwind. Of course this is a Ben Wheatley film, so the track slowly descends into something twisted and dissonant – Charlie Brigden, The Quietus

Lakeshore Records congratulates Composer Clint Mansell (Free Fire, Out of Blue) on his Ivor Novello Best Television Soundtrack nomination for his score to Happy New Year, Colin Burstead! Lakeshore co-released the soundtrack with Invada Records last December ahead of its BBC Two Christmas Day television premiere.
