So if you are looking to find a score that sounds like the scores used to sound like, you can’t go much wrong with Yared’s The Promise which to my account might be one of the best scores he’s ever composed. – Soundtrack Dreams

Gabriel Yared’s score to The Promise film directed by Terry George was recently reviewed at Soundtrack Dreams and quite frankly, he thought it was perfect, giving the album a 100% review rating!  The album also features music by Serj Tankian of System of a Down and the title track, “The Promise” by the late Chris Cornell of Soundgarden.  See the full review at Soundtrack Dreams.
