Album Features New And Exclusive Original Songs Performed By Artists Including Camper Van Beethoven, Eddie Cole, Quint, East Bay Ray, Dave Days, Geno Lenardo, Daniel Davies and Sebastian Robertson
Along with the new film, Syfy is planning new “Sharknado” merchandise, including a David Hasselhoff bobblehead and an “Archie” tie-in comic released on the same day. There’s also an official “Sharknado” soundtrack, which will feature songs from Camper Van Beethoven, YouTube star Dave Days, and Ferrante’s own band Quint, who contribute two tracks: “(The Ballad of) Sharknado” and “Crash.” –The Wall Street Journal
Lakeshore Records will release Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) digitally on July 17, with the CD to follow on August 14. The album features new and exclusive original songs by Camper Van Beethoven, Dead Kennedy’s East Bay Ray, Eddie Cole and Dave Days, plus contemporary covers of Sharknado-themed songs. The Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! soundtrack also features exclusive contemporary covers of such classic Sharknado-themed songs as a Drive-inspired Synth version of the Pixies classic “Wave Of Mutilation” by Daniel Davies & Sebastian Robertson, the Mission Of Burma anthem, “That’s When I Reach For My Revolver” by Filter’s Geno Lenardo and Nina Bergman and the Surf Punks’ “Shark Attack” performed by Barnaby Austin.
