Throwback Thursday: Joaquin Phoenix In ‘Reservation Road’ (Mark Isham Score)

In this edition of Throwback Thursday, we take a look back at one of Joaquin Phoenix’s vintage movies, Reservation Road, featuring score by acclaimed composer Mark Isham!  The film was released almost exactly 10 years prior to his latest film, You Were Never Really Here.  Helmed by Hotel Rwanda and The Promise Director Terry George, the film also stars Jennifer Connolly and Mark Ruffalo.  It’s another dark and moody film to add to your Joaquin Phoenix movie queue.  Have you been a long-time follower of Joaquin Phoenix’s career?

Congratulations Infinitely Polar Bear (Sony Pictures Classics) on its NAACP Image Award nominations!  The film received two nominations: “Outstanding Independent Motion Picture,” and “Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture” for Zoe Saldana.  Congrats to all the nominees!
