With his newfound Spryte friends, Wolfboy learns that not only can he use the creative energy of the Everything Factory to make his wild imagination come to life, but that he is destined to play a central role in an age-old battle between the forces of creation and destruction. Watch Saleka Shyamalan’s Soulful ‘Graffiti’ Music Video

Saleka - Graffiti_600b

What if everything that was ever said about you was manifested on your skin?  Saleka Shyamalan’s music video for “Graffiti” demonstrates this notion.  Like a fly on the wall, we watch her perform while the camera swirls around gently to reveal the “graffiti.”  Directed by her sister, Ishani Shyamalan, the video is shot with a minimal backdrop so we can focus our attention on Saleka, the meaning of the lyrics, and the print on her skin close up.

“All the words that are on my body in the video are actually things that people have said to me, so it’s all actual examples from my life,” says Saleka. (Forbes)

If the names sound familiar, Saleka Shyamalan and Ishani Shyamalan are the daughters of the two-time Academy Award-nominated filmmaker, M. Night Shyamalan (“Servant”, The Sixth Sense). Watch the music video below:
