An Interview With Paul Haslinger On His Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans Score (Audio)

In 2009, Lakeshore Records sat down with composer Paul Haslinger to interview him on his Underworld: Rise Of The Lycans score.  Paul Haslinger, formerly of the Grammy®-nominated band, Tangerine Dream, is known for his scores on such films as Near Dark (directed by Kathryn Bigelow),  Crank, and the Emmy®- and Golden Globe®-nominated TV series, “The Sleeper Cell.”  He is currently composing on the “Fear The Walking Dead” TV series.  Listen to the interview below as Paul discusses the Rise of the Lycans score and his years with Tangerine Dream.

Starring Rhona Mitra, Michael Sheen and Bill Nighy, this third installment of the wildly popular Underworld franchise focuses on the origins of the feud between the race of aristocratic vampires and their one-time slaves, the Lycans.  Watch Underworld: Rise of the Lycans now on On Demand (rent it on iTunes) and on Blu-ray/DVD.
