Lakeshore Records
will release the Logan (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) digitally on March 3 and on CD March 31, 2017.  The album contains original music by Marco Beltrami (Ben-Hur, The Hurt Locker) who previously scored two films for director James Mangold: 3:10 TO YUMA, for which Beltrami earned an Academy Award® nomination, and The Wolverine.  See track listings below.

Seamlessly melding Marvel mythology with Western mythology, James Mangold has crafted an affectingly stripped-down stand-alone feature, one that draws its strength from Hugh Jackman’s nuanced turn as a reluctant, all but dissipated hero. – The Hollywood Reporter

Two Must-Watch Movies Featuring ‘X-Men’ Stars Halle Berry & Hugh Jackman | Soundtracks Scored By Award Winning Composers

Before Halle Berry and Hugh Jackman played mutants in X-Men: Days of Future Past, they played ordinary citizens in extraordinary situations. Halle Berry stars as Jordan Turner in The Call, about a 911 operator who goes beyond the call to save a girl (Perfect Sisters‘ Abigail Breslin) who is abducted by a serial killer. Hugh Jackman plays Boyd Bolton, a used car salesman in Butter, a satire centered around the power struggle behind an annual butter carving competition in Iowa.  The soundtracks for these two movie selections are solid picks: the Butter soundtrack is scored by Grammy-winning Composer Mateo Messina (Juno), and The Call soundtrack is scored by Academy Award-nominated Composer John Debney (Walk of ShameDraft Day).
