Jason Statham’s Chevzilla Is Back: Watch The Epic Battle Video! | Score By Mike Patton

To celebrate the release of Godzilla this weekend, Lakeshore Records has set loose this clip from Crank 2: High Voltage (rent it on iTunes) featuring Jason Statham as the biggest, baddest monster that ever lived: Chev Chelios.  The Crank 2: High Voltage soundtrack is scored by Mike Patton, the lead singer of Faith No More and the founder and lead singer of experimental bands Mr. Bungle, Tomahawk, and Fantômas. Patton’s unique score captures the non-stop insanity of the film perfectly with its bursts of brutal sonic mayhem and odd glitchy sounds of broken toy instruments.

In Crank 2: High Voltage, Chev Chelios clashes with a powerful Chinese mobster who has stolen his indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker. Chelios must give his artificial heart regular jolts of electricity in order to stay alive.
