Join us as we congratulate team Cyberpunk 2077, nominated this year for the VES Awards Outstanding Animated Character in a Commercial (Dex: Jonas Ekman, Jonas Skoog, Marek Madej, Grzegorz Chojnacki)! The highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 (CD Projekt Red) narrative-driven RPG has been generating a lot of attention amongst gamers for the past several years, and the excitement spiked whenever a new game trailer was released. Last year, an epic new trailer dropped at E3, driving fans absolutely insane. Have you seen it?
The game is music supervised by Lakeshore Records‘ own Brian McNelis and Eric Craig — the same guys who were Music Supervisors on Nicolas Winding Refn’s seminal Drive film. And, yes, game music fans are certainly following Cyberpunk 2077news closely. The game is expected to release September 17, 2020.
Congratulations to team Cyberpunk 2077 and to all the nominees this year! Read our previous announcement on the VES Awards nominations for the full list!
It’s Monday again, but don’t fret. We know life gets hectic, which is why we’ve rounded up a week’s worth of Lakeshore Records highlights right here, in case you missed some. First off, members of Calico performed at the annual Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California last Saturday. Sitting in were two members of the Foo Fighters, Rami Jaffee and Chris Shiflett, as well as Lakeshore’s Director of A&R, Eric Craig, who dusted off his guitar for the afternoon. Calico members Manda Mosher and Kirsten Proffit have a track out on the Walk of Shame Soundtrack entitled, “Walk On.” Don’t forget to check it out!
