‘LBJ’ Soundtrack: Score By Five-Time Academy Award Nominee Marc Shaiman in Review | Movie Music UK

Although he predominantly worked on popular comedies, his scores were never anything less than sophisticated, and emotionally direct, as works like City Slickers, The Addams Family, A Few Good Men, the Oscar-nominated The American President, the Oscar-nominated The First Wives Club, and the Oscar-nominated Patch Adams attest. LBJ is a superb return to that style of scoring. – Jonathan Broxton, Movie Music UK

No stranger to creating scores for presidential dramas, five-time Academy Award®-nominated composer Marc Shaiman, known for his work in Academy Award®-nominated classics such as A Few Good Men, The American President, Patch Adams, Sleepless In Seattle, and more, brings us his score to Rob Reiner’s LBJ.  See the full review at Movie Music UK., which includes a retrospective brief of Shaiman’s incredible career as composer!

Starring Woody Harrelson, Jennifer Jason Leigh and Bill Pullman, LBJ is the story of U.S. President Lyndon Baines Johnson from his young days in West Texas to the White House.
