Lakeshore Records will release the soundtrack to Playing It Cool, the new romantic comedy starring Michelle Monaghan and Chris Evans. Featuring Composer Jake Monaco (Let’s Be Cops, Frozen, Runner, Runner), the various artists album also features cues by Andrew Feltenstein and John Nau, and Brian Kim — available digitally on February 10. Go See ‘Laggies’ Starring Academy Award Nominee Keira Knightley In Theaters Now Nationwide, Own The Soundtrack Today

Superbly written, handsomely made and full of terrific performances, “Laggies” is Shelton’s best film to date. – Film.com

Head out to see Laggies, starring Academy Award nominee Keira Knightley, Chloë Grace Moritz and Sam Rockwell, in theaters now nationwide (check show times).

Also, don’t forget to check out the Laggies soundtrack featuring the score by Benjamin Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie. The new song, “It’s Never Too Late,” features vocals by Ben and plays in the film’s end titles. This is his second foray into film scoring; he previously scored the Kurt Cobain documentary, Kurt Cobain About A Son (2006).

‘Laggies’ Soundtrack Coming Soon On Lakeshore Records, Score By Ben Gibbard Of Death Cab For Cutie, Movie In Theaters October 24

Coming soon: Lakeshore Records is excited to release the soundtrack to Laggies, a comedy starring Keira Knightley, Chloë Grace Moretz, and Sam Rockwell. The soundtrack will feature a score by Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie! Laggies opens in theaters on Friday October 24th via A24 (the studio behind The Spectacular Now). Lynn Shelton directs this film about a woman who, while hiding out from her fiancé, spends a week with adolescents to figure out her life. Laggies screened at Toronto International Film Festival. More soundtrack details are coming soon.

Naughty Bunnies: Celebrate Easter With ‘Hank And Mike’

Why have the same old Easter gathering when you can throw in a bit of hijinks? For some good laughs, watch Hank and Mike (watch it on iTunes), starring Thomas Michael, Paolo Mancini, Joe Mantegna, Chris Klein (“Street Fighter – The Legend of Chun-Li“; “American Dreamz“) and Maggie Castle. This irreverent comedy promises to add the right amount of sweet and naughty to your day. Be warned: do not watch this while you’re eating or in the presence of sensitive ears (read: some naughty language). While the movie makes you laugh, the soundtrack makes for a fun listen between spiral ham and food coma.

Hank and Mike also stars Boyd Banks (“The Love Guru“; “How She Move“) and Tony Nappo (“Defendor“; “Jumper“). You’ll never look at men in bunny suits the same way ever again.
