Lakeshore Records will release Grandma (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) digitally on August 14, CD on August 28.  The album features score by Joel P West  (About Alex, I Am Not A Hipster) and tracks by various artists.  Also featured is “The Banks,” a song by The Flood Coats, one of West’s bands.  Read the full score review at Soundtrack Geek.  Sony Picture Classics present Grandma, opens in select U.S. theaters on August 21.  Read further for more film and soundtrack details.

Pre-order Grandma (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), featuring score by composer Joel P West, a track by Angus and Julia Stone, and songs from West’s bands The Tree Ring and Flood Coats.  The album will be released digitally on August 14, followed by the CD release on August 28.  Directed by Paul Weitz and starring Lily Tomlin, Grandma was an “Official Selection” at this year’s Sundance Film Festival and Tribeca Film Festival.  Sony Picture Classics present Grandma, opens in select U.S. theaters on August 21.  See below for more film and soundtrack details.
