Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe introduce the new a cappella version below, titled “All We Ever Needed Was an A Capella Montage of ‘Montage,'” wherein singers take on lyrics such as “pop-popcorn” and “Now we killed a raccoon/ We are using your body like it’s a machine gun,” mirroring the strange events of a film on survival and friendship.

Fans sent in videos of themselves performing “Montage” from Swiss Army Man (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) — the feel-good song of the summer! The film’s stars Daniel Radcliffe and Paul Dano introduce the epic compilation, and you can watch it exclusively at Billboard!

Starring Colin Farrell and Rachel Weisz, the soundtrack features the track, “Where the Wild Roses Grow” by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds & Kylie Minogue and classical masterpieces (Sofia Loren’s vocals are amazing on CD!). Lakeshore Records has partnered with iam8bit to release the Swiss Army Man Collector’s Edition Vinyl!

A24, Lakeshore Records and iam8bit have rallied together to create one of the most unique vinyl albums in recent memory, as a compliment to one of Sundance 2016’s most breakout and gutsy films, Swiss Army Man.

Composed by Andy Hull and Robert McDowell, members of the prestigious Manchester Orchestra, the sounds present here aren’t what you’d expect. The duo has, in fact, shattered convention entirely, incorporating the melodic voices of stars Paul Dano and Daniel Radcliffe, into an almost completely A cappella experience.

Seriously, give it a listen via the Spotify Album below. It’s a wholly unique approach to a filmic score.
